HANDSOME and regal, the groom will be walking tall today in full military dress. Here’s the lowdown on what Wills, best man Harry and their dad Prince Charles will wear at the ceremony.

PRINCE WILLIAM

WILLIAM will marry as a Colonel of the Irish Guards, his most senior honorary position in the military. He will wear the uniform of a Captain of the Household Cavalry including the same type of red tunic worn by Captain Mark Phillips when he married Princess Anne in 1973. Wills’ uniform features the Irish Guards’ distinctive arrangement of buttons in groups of four and was fitted by military tailors Kashket & Partners.

Wills will also wear a forage cap. He’ll have sword slings but no sword.

PRINCE HARRY

HARRY will be decked out in a Blues and Royals officer’s uniform. The outfit will be decorated with the wings of the Army Air Corps as well as Golden Jubilee and Afghanistan medals. He will also have a gold cross-belt.

PRINCE CHARLES

THE Prince of Wales will be dressed in military finery including a Navy sword.
