Critics slam Wills and Kate movie

Critics have panned William & Kate: The Movie for wooden acting, cheesy Mills & Boon-style dialogue and embarrassing bed scenes.

PROMO for DVD about royal couple is littered with cheesy moments

A trailer for the ?3million DVD, shot in Los Angeles last month, went online on Tuesday and was watched by 35,000 viewers.

One said it was "God awful". In one scene Camilla Luddington, playing Kate, dives into a river to greet Wills.

Then Wills, played by Nico Evers-Swindell, serenades her in a karaoke bar.

Ben Cross appears ridiculous as Charles and Kate's mum seems like Cruella De Vil. The film, premiered on Channel 5 on April 24, is out on DVD the next day. Below we have recreated scenes from the outrageous film.
