The cuddly faces of 2012 donned the garb of a Queen's Guard and a Beefeater to take in the landmarks of London, including Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the London Eye.
And they had reason to be chirpy. Ticket sales for the Games - which closed at midnight - proved so popular that over half the sessions are over-subscribed and will now go to a ballot.
