Sun readers got to meet Wills and Kate thanks to our cut-out-and-keep masks

From a fish and chip shop in Leeds, to ferry staff in Southampton and footie fans at Old Trafford, the freebies we printed yesterday clocked up a hit.

Even a pair of traffic wardens joined in the fun on patrol in Leeds.

YOU can leave good wishes for William and Kate on a special Sun hotline.

We will turn them into a commemorative book to present to the couple.

Profits from the hotline will go to their charities.

UK callers have up to a minute to record a message on 0901 292 5111. Or text ROYAL to 85088 to leave your message by SMS.

From Republic of Ireland, call 15164 15224. Sorry, no text service is available.

A spokesman for the pair said: "They are incredibly grateful for all greetings and goodwill messages."

Calls cost ?1.02 from BT landlines. Texts cost ?1 plus standard message rate. Call to the Republic of Ireland number cost 1.50 euro. All News International profits from the hotline will be donated to The Prince William & Miss Catherine Middleton Charitable Gift Fund. Lines close at midnight on Friday.

THE PM and his wife will throw a street party for 100 pensioners in Downing Street on Friday - and will pop back from the wedding to "look in" on their guests. KILLJOY railway union the RMT will open its head office in London as usual during Friday's bank holiday - because it has a policy of abolishing royalty.
