Royal Wedding register signing telly ban

After their vows, they will pass through the south door of the Chapel of St Edward the Confessor, behind the altar.

They will sign the register in the tiny enclosed chapel, the holiest part of Westminster Abbey.

No cameras will be allowed to capture the private moment in the Shrine of St Edward - who is the patron saint of difficult marriages.

SPECTATORS heading to London to see the wedding on screens in Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park are being urged by event organisers to dress up and wear hats so they feel like guests.
