Royal wedding | Kate Middleton's tight schedule

The slightest delay will see her arriving fashionably late on April 29 - leaving Prince William and their guests waiting.

Kate, 29, is scheduled to leave the luxurious Royal suite at the five-star Goring Hotel in London's Belgravia at exactly 10.51.

A 1950s Rolls-Royce will whisk her and father Michael the 1.4 miles to the Abbey where the ceremony is set to start at 11.00 prompt.

The arrangements were revealed in a wedding timetable of almost military precision released yesterday.

By the time Kate arrives, 28-year-old William will already have been waiting for 45 nail-biting minutes.

He and best man Prince Harry will arrive at 10.15, having made the five-minute journey in a state limousine from Clarence House, their father Charles' London home.

But the brothers' wait will be nothing to that facing friends who have been told to take their places between 08.15 and 09.45.

The Queen and Prince Philip will arrive at 10.45 - just 15 minutes before the service.

The newlyweds will appear with the Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at 1.25pm ready for an RAF flypast.

There will also be a clamour for Wills to kiss his new bride.

Kate was at the Abbey for a wedding rehearsal yesterday - with Prince Harry.

William was working but will join later rehearsals.

Bridesmaids and pageboys also practised with Kate. Meanwhile Harry plans to be the best man with the best TAN.

The prince, 26, will take a break in Africa before the big day.

A source said: "He feels relaxed there and best of all will come back sun-tanned."

The Sun told yesterday how Kate's five-room suite at the 100-year-old Goring had been given a ?150,000 makeover ready for her stay.

Chief executive Jeremy Goring said: "We are delighted to play a small part in what's going to be a wonderful day of celebration."

TWO horses taking part in the wedding are also called William and Catherine.

The pair will carry soldiers escorting the Queen and other royals in their carriages.

William is said to have a good temperament while Catherine is gentle.

THE Queen had to miss a public engagement this week at Windsor Castle after suffering a nosebleed.

A life-sized cardboard cut-out of Wills and Kate was stolen from a hotel foyer in Melbourne, Australia.
